Where heritage meets the lake
Vikram Garh Lakeview sits on the hillside off Rani Road, a short climb above Fateh Sagar and Rajiv Gandhi Park. It is a small, family-run house in Udaipur, the City of Lakes, comfortable lake-view rooms, an infinity pool, and a rooftop where the whole lake turns gold at sunset.
Most guests find us by word of mouth, and come back for the same three things: the infinity pool at the edge of the hill, home-cooked Rajasthani food on the terrace, and the family's vintage cars out in the garden.

Set high on the hill, the pool's infinity edge looks straight out over the Aravalli hills, with Fateh Sagar beyond. It is the most-loved corner of the hotel, a quiet swim with the valley in front of you, and the best seat in the house when the sun drops behind the hills.
Where heritage meets luxury
Out in the garden sits the family's own collection of more than ten classic cars, polished, cared for, and endlessly photographed. Guests are welcome to wander among them, lean on a bonnet for a picture, and hear the story behind each one over chai.
It is the sort of thing you do not expect from a small lakeside hotel, and the reason so many guests remember their stay.
Rooftop heritage dining
Meals are cooked fresh in the family kitchen and carried up to the rooftop, where the view does half the work. Expect honest, home-style Rajasthani food, dal-baati, fresh rotis, a thali that changes with the day, rather than a long printed menu.
